Pontevedra, in the northeast of Spain will host the World Triathlon Multisport Championship from 20 - 29 June.

Pontevedra is the capital of the “Rias Baixas”. A stately city teeming with life, with the largest Old Town in Galicia, after Santiago.
Built with patience through centuries, this “boa vila”, with its delicious streets and squares named after the typical guilds, full of cult and popular architecture buildings, possesses one of the most beautiful and best preserved historical collections of Galicia.

Bookings are now open until 14 March 2025 or until sold out. There are 2 hotel options with only limited rooms available, so make sure you book early and don’t miss out!

Hotel Option 1:
Hotel Rias Bajas is in the centre of Pontevedra within walking/biking distance to the race venue.

Hotel Option 2:
Hotel Villa Covelo is approx. 8km from Pontevedra there a local bus travels regularly past the hotel to Pontevedra (journey time is approx. 30 mins).

    All prices are:
  • Per person in NZ dollars
  • Prices are subject to change, due to foreign exchange fluctuations and governmental taxes
  • Based on twin/double share accommodation. Single supplement is pricing is on request
  • Suite upgrade at Hotel Rias Bajas and Triple Room at both properties on application
  • Packages are subject to minimum numbers. If minimum numbers are not met, alternative arrangements & package inclusions may need to be considered. Costs will be revised in this situation.

    Package Payment Terms
  • Non-refundable booking deposit of NZ$500.00 per person is required at time of registration to confirm your booking.
  • The balance of payment will be required by 14 March 2025
  • HOT Events accepts payment by cheque, cash, direct bank transfer or credit card as well as Q card and GEM card
  • Payment by credit card does attract fees depending on the credit card type used
  • Cancellation penalties over and above the deposit will apply once you have paid in full

    12 Nights - Hotel Rias Bajas OR Hotel Villa Covelo, Poio, Pontevedra 18/30 June.

    • If athletes are travelling alone and wish to share with someone, Tri Travel/HOT Events will assist with matching you up with another athlete of the same gender and similar age as best possible. Shared rooms will be subject to finding another athlete who is staying the same dates. This is not guaranteed and should no other athlete require to share for the same dates, the athlete who has requested accommodation will be required to pay the total cost of the room.
