Pontevedra, in the northwest of Spain will host the 2026 World Triathlon Age-Group Championships, 23-27 September 2026.

Pontevedra is the capital of the “Rias Baixas”. A stately city teeming with life, with the largest Old Town in Galicia, after Santiago.

Bookings are now open until 30 April 2026 or until sold out. There are 2 hotel options with only limited rooms available, so make sure you book early to avoid missing out!

Hotel Rias Bajas is in the centre of Pontevedra within walking/biking distance to the race venue.

Package Payment Terms
• Non-refundable booking deposit of NZ$500.00 per person is required at time of registration to confirm your booking.
• The balance of payment will be required by 30 April 2026
• HOT Events accepts payment by cheque, cash, direct bank transfer or credit card as well as Q card and GEM card
• Payment by credit card does attract fees depending on the credit card type used
• Cancellation penalties over and above the deposit will apply once you have paid in full

7 Nights - Hotel Rias Bajas, Pontevedra OR Hotel Villa Covelo, Poio 21-28 September 2026.

• If you are double or twin sharing - select the room type, the number of rooms from the drop down box, add the person you are sharing with (if there is more than one room, please include the sharer names for each room eg Room 1: *name & name*, Room 2: *name & name* etc)
• If athletes are travelling alone and wish to share with someone, Tri Travel/HOT Events will assist with matching you up with another athlete of the same gender and similar age as best possible. Shared rooms will be subject to finding another athlete who is staying the same dates. This is not guaranteed and should no other athlete require to share for the same dates, the athlete who has requested accommodation will be required to pay the total cost of the room.
